While focusing on literary theory and interpretation, this peer-reviewed journal looks at the different chronological time periods behind literature and writings and the influence they had on the author. The journal and articles look at the inspirations of history and literature, and how the two differ textually but are similar in ambition. The articles include feminist pieces, technology influenced pieces, and even writings on Renaissance literature. They look at simple structural rules and methods such as criticism, metaphors, and different styles of writing while recalling different time periods and their inspirations on these genres and changing ideas. Journal articles titled "Cognitive Metaphor" and "History and Genre" show how simple the ideas seem, but after reading the different articles we realize that these authors take these simple concepts into much deeper levels of understanding.
