Latin American Perspectives is a scholarly journal that offers a multidisciplinary view on political, social, and economic issues (past and present) facing Latin American countries. Each journal issue focuses on a particular country and/or issue with input from American as well as Latin American activists and scholars. The objective of the journal is to discuss, debate and inform regarding issues pertinent to Latin America. This journal has a wealth of information and diverse perspectives on the focused topics chosen in each issue. It is a serious journal that is more informative than theoretical and offers viewpoints from several disciplines, including literary. The articles are easy to access because they are available in online libraries, by subscription, and in addition, Latin American Perspectives has its own website that allows the public to access certain articles at no charge.
