Asian Perspectives, founded in 2000, is published by University of Hawai'i. The journal is generally circulated to those are interested in the fields of Asian/Pacific topics in ethno-archaeology, palaeoanthropology, physical anthropology, and ethnography. Some specific subjects that one may find in the journal are prehistoric hunting, prehistoric people, forage plants, ancient caves, human remains, prehistoric agricultures and many other topics. Asian Perspectives serves as a forum for scholars worldwide. The journal publishes technical reports of original research, reviews of current scholarships in the field, research notes, and book reviews. The mission of the journal is to promote archaeologically professional standards and ethics for conserving, managing and understanding of culture. Asian Perspectives would be helpful for literature students if they are searching for detailed topics in the field of Southeast Asian archaeology.
